Owner Elliott Perlin, was born and raised in Lake Arrowhead, located in southern California in the San Bernadino mountains. Elliott went to college in San Deigo where he obtained perfect attendance, highest honors and graduated with a degree in electrical engineering. After college he moved to New Orleans Louisiana where he found his passion: Marine Electronics. Elliott worked at Sea-Trac Offshore Marine Electronics, which was one of the very first marine electronics companies in the nation, opened in 1946. He learned the technical side from a master marine electronics technician Scott James who is still in the industry today. Simultaneously he learned all aspects of the business from a former Vice President of Raytheon "marine division". Elliott Spent eight years in southern Louisiana on the Mississippi River as well as the entire Gulf of Mexico ranging from Texas to Florida. He worked on a wide range of boats, vessels, ships, and yachts, including government, law enforcement, tugboats, commercial fishing, private owners... He then met the love of his life, Julia, who had lived back in his hometown of Lake arrowhead. Elliott then moved to orange county where he extended his love for marine electronics and gained more experience as he worked on large Italian yachts. Before you know it, Elliott and Julia had started their own little family with a baby boy. Elliott knew he had to do something different so then he formed his own company,
